Pvt. James K. Millman born in Philadelphia. Mustered into service on August 6th 1861 as a Drummer in Company K, 23rd PA Volunteers, "Birney's Zouaves". At some point in service he was absent without leave and then came back. On September 8th 1864, he re-enlisted into Company H, 82nd PA Volunteers and finished his service in April 1865. After the War he moved to Maine and lived at The Soldiers Home. He died there on March 4th 1912.
