Mr. Leavens, a native of Coffee County, was a retired carpenter. He had worked for the Fleetwood Mobile Home Industry for many years.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Leona Marie Bivins Leavens, and 1 Son, Jeffery Lamar Leavens. Mr. Leavens was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include: His Children: James Howell Leavens; Jerry Otto Leavens; and Belinda Marie Savoie, all of Douglas, Ga.; 1 Brother: Jerry Wayne Leavens of Douglas, Ga.; 7 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.
Interment Services were held Monday, April 6, 2015, at 11:15 A. M., at the Douglas City Cemetery.
Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the Arrangements.
