Emmett F. Brachmann, 77, of 111 Chestnut St., Hawthorne-At-Leesburg, Fla., died Thursday, Dec. 15, at Leesburg.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Leesburg. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Philip J. Stegman and cremation will follow.

Mr. Brachmann was born in Manitowoc and moved from Wausau to Florida in 1975. He was formerly the owner of Emmett’s shoes for 25 years in Wausau. He graduated from Marquette University with a B.A. in Journalism. He was a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus. Mr. Brachmann was also a member of George J. Schreier Council No. 1069 of Wausau, 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and past Faithful Navigator and member of Rene-Menard Assembly, Wausau. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Leesburg.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, nine grandchildren and many dear friends.
Memorials may be made to the Hawthorne Memorial Fund with the American Cancer Society.
