Rites to be Held Friday

Brachmann Services Arranged; Died Tuesday at Home.
Funeral services for Nicholas Brachmann, 82, pioneer carpenter contractor who died Tuesday at his home, will be held Friday, following brief services at the home, 1036 South 13th street, there will be services at 9 a.m. at the St. Boniface church.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Born in Milwaukee
Mr. Brachmann was born in Milwaukee in 1854. He learned the carpenter trade when a young man and 55 years ago moved to this city, where he has since resided. He married Miss Cecelia Roedig 54 years ago.
During the years Brachmann engaged in the contracting business he erected a number of public buildings and residences. Included in these were the St. Mary's church and the Meyer store building in this city, the St. Luke's church. Two Rivers and churches at Mishicot, Northeim and Clark Mills.
Survivors are the widow; four daughters, Mrs. L.C. Vader and Mrs. H. Hanley, both of Minneapolis, Mrs. T. Foley and Lynda Brachmann, both of this city; four sons, Adolph, Albert and William of this city and John of Anoka, Minn.; two brothers, John, city and Peter, Portland, Oregon; two sisters, Mrs. B. Deiksen and Mrs. P. Simon, both of Milwaukee; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The body was removed to the Brachmann home this afternoon from the Shimek and Schwartz funeral home.
