Henry C. Buchner, 84, of 830 S. 19th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday
at Manitowoc County Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and
at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev.
Clement P. Kern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Buchner was born July 23, 1883, in Germany, son of the late Joseph
and Margaret Frisch Buchner. He came to Manitowoc when 20 years of
age and owned and operated a shoe repair shop at Western Avenue until
retiring 14 years ago. He was a member of the Holy Name Society. He
married Rose Koerner June 17, 1913. She died Nov. 18, 1933, and Aug.
14, 1940, he married Hulda Kolwey and she died Nov. 30, 1964.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Bertha Fischer, of Manitowoc and nieces
and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday where at 7 p.m.
the Rosary will be recited.
