Andrew M. Buretta, 79, of 2515 Nelson St., Manitowoc, died Thursday at his residence.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Joseph Maltern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Buretta was born Nov. 11, 1897, in Manitowoc, son of the late John and Anna Pinkowski Buretta. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army and was employed with Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., and on the Ann Arbor Car Ferry until his retirement in 1950.
Survivors include a brother, Alois Buretta and a sister, Mrs. Alois (Clara) Rohrer of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews. Three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home 6 o’clock to 9 o’clock this Friday evening where a prayer service will be at 6:35 o’clock.
