Reinhardt (Reine) S. Butz, age 45, a resident of Evergreen Apartments, Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening, September 18, 1996, at Bellin Memorial Hospital, Green Bay.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 1996, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Camillus Janas O.F.M. with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born September 8, 1951, in Madison, son of the late Robert and Josephine Puccio Butz. Reine was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, graduating with the class of 1969. He received an associate’s degree in music from Lawrence Conservatory of Music in Milwaukee. He loved jazz music, musicians and history. Reine was a waiter and bartender in various cities in Wisconsin.
Survivors include an aunt, Shirlee Butz, Manitowoc; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Butz, Longmont, Colo., Regina and Randy Slagle, Madison; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Michael Butz and special friend Cheryl Stebnitz, Francis and Charlene Butz, all of Manitowoc. Also surviving are two nephews, Adam and Brandon Butz; two nieces, Heidi Butz and Danielle Butz.
Friends may call at St. Andrew Catholic Church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at 10 a.m.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
