Son of Dr. Charles Herbert Marshall, Jr. and Esther Ophelia Tibbs Marshall. Father of Samson and Raleigh Marshall.

Passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at his home in Highland Beach, Md. Son of the late Charles Herbert Marshall, Jr. and Esther Ophelia Tibbs Marshall. "Doc" or "Charlie", as he was called by many of his friends, grew up in the Georgetown Section of Washington, DC. He enjoyed fishing, shooting, and the companionship and affection of many longtime friends and the members of his social club, The Hausas.

He is survived by his sons, Samson, 26, and Raleigh, 23, his godchildren, and many dear longtime friends. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday May 7 at 19th Street Baptist Church, 4606 16th St. NW. There will be a repast directly following the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Boy Scout Troop 544 at Peoples Congregational United Church of Christ, 4704 13th St. NW, Washington, DC 20011.
