Mrs. Blades, 77, Dies of Short Illness
Mrs. Stella Blades, 77, longtime Kimberly resident, died Monday morning at Magic Valley Memorial Hospital of a short illness. She was born April 21, 1890. She had lived in Kimberly since 1943, having moved there from Twin Falls.
She was married to William Robert Blades in Billings, MT (*error - Billings, Christian Co., MO). The couple moved to Twin Falls in 1937 later going to Kimberly. Mr. Blades died in 1966. She was a member of the Kimberly Nazarene Church.
Surviving are six sons: Clifford W., Twin Falls; Ernest L., Filer; Harold B., Gooding; Franklin F., Lewiston; Murrel F. and Loren A., both Jerome; two daughters: Mrs. [?] Cordy Ethridge, Kimberly; Mrs. Oliver (Lola) Brown, Vergis, OR; three brothers, Alonzo Conrad, Jerome; Ernest Conrad, Wichita, KS; Elmer Conrad, Topeka, KS; three sisters, Mrs. Guland [?], Aurora, MO; Mrs. Alice Ferris and Mrs. Ola Blades both Ven...[?], MO; 25 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. A daughter preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. Concluding services at Sunset Memorial Park.
