Earl E. Shipp was born in Empire, Michigan to Henry Green Shipp and his wife Lillie Higgins Shipp. He moved to New Jersey, met, and married Nora Winsor. Nora's father, John Henry Winsor was living in Trenton, NJ. Earl went to work for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He had 6 children with Nora: 3 daughters - Ruth, Marian, and Gwendolyn and 3 sons - Earl, John(my father) and Fred. All 3 sons went to work for the railroad. Earl and John became career railroaders. Fred chose another career path. Earl eventually moved from Trenton to Morrisville, PA. He lived there with Sue Bailey. They had one son together named Harold. Earl passed away suddenly in 1979 and was laid to rest in the Morrisville Cemetery.
