Mrs. Vivian C. Fricke, 75, of 2001 S. 14th Street, Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, February 25, 1990, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. James J. Stamborski with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Fricke was born September 13, 1914, at Two Rivers, Wisconsin, daughter of the late George and Mary Schaff Bentley. She grew up at Two Rivers, attended St. Lukes Grade School and graduated from Washington High School in 1932. She moved to Manitowoc after her marriage to Robert W. Fricke Sr. on May 22, 1937, at St. Luke Catholic church, Two Rivers. The couple celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 1987. After high school she was employed at Manitowoc Herald Times for a number of years and was President of Fricke Printing Service, Inc. until her retirement in 1980.

She enjoyed music and the arts and was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and St. Theresa Society.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Sr. of Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert W. and Charlotte Fricke Fr. Of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Christopher Menke of Cedarburg, Wisconsin; six grandchildren, Bill, Amy, Mike and David Fricke, Joey and Melissa Redmond and a sister-in-law, Constance Bentley of Greenwich, Connecticut. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lester W. Bentley, a well known portrait artist.

Friends may call at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Monday. Services by Daughters of Isabella at 7 p.m. and Parish Prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. led by Rev. James J. Stamborski. Memorials would be appreciated to Roncalli Endowment Fund or St. Andrew Catholic Church.
