ENOCH BALL was born about 1833 or 1834 in Harlan County, Kentucky.

He married Nancy Charlotte Hampton.

Enoch Ball served in the civil war as a Private on the roster of Company e., First Battalion, Arkansas Confederat Cavalry, which was organized at Fayetteville on October 9, 1861. The Company was referred to as "The Davis Light Horse."
