Louella was born in Crawford,Mississppi in 1943 to the late Issac and Gertrude (Phillips) Henley.
She confessed Christ at an early age. She moved to Flint at age 13 and has lived here for the past 25 years. She became a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church serving first as a Junior Usher before becoming active on its Senior Usher Board. Even in her illnees,her first priority was to be faithful to the church and most of all to the lord.
Louella was employed by Hurley Hospital for 15 years.She retired in 1981 due to illness of Cancer.She was a member of Local 1603 of the AFL-CIO.She graduated from Flint Northern School in 1962
