February 25, 1916:
"Esther was the third daughter born to Mr. & Mrs. J.A. Stephenson.
She was a well known and highly esteemed citizen of Andover Township.
At the age of twenty, she married Mr. Ernest Norton.
Mrs. Norton died in childbirth at 8 P.M. on February 14th.
Her husband and six children, Curtis, Kenneth, Martha, Paul, Rudolph and the new infant were left to mourn.
Among her other survivors were:
five sisters: Mrs. Maria Mount;
Mrs. Anna Hogren; Mrs. Emma Johnson;
Mrs. Violet Johnson and Bertha Stephenson;
and three brothers: Martin, Wilford and Lloyd."
