Mother Mary Clarity Loring, Father John Loring civil war veteran All from Portland Maine.His siblings were Mark,Harold,Charles,and 2 other brothers and 3 half sister.His children Catherine T Loring Cavanaugh,and Louis Loring all of his relatives are buried at Calvary cemetery South Portland Maine also.

He was married to Elizabeth (Hazel)O'Donnell Loring.They had 2 children Catherine Loring Cavanaugh ( my Mother) and Louis Loring.His parents were John Loring and Mary Clarity.He had 3 half sisters,and 6 brothers.He was an uncle to Medal of honor recipient Charles Loring.His father fought twice in civil war also survivor of Anderson Ville prison camp.His father was a captain in the Portland fire dept after the war.George was murdered and his body was found in long lsland sound on Connecticut side.The crime was never solved but he was in to the New York bootleggers. His death certificate was in the front page of our Portland news papers.His grandfather was Sylvester Loring .
