Cornelia Boone b.1819, d.1847: believed to have died at sea on board the SS "Princess Sophia". She was wife of Cornelis Janse De Jonge. A daughter died as well Gertruida De JONGE b. 1842, d. 1847 at sea.

Section 19 of Zeeland Township, Ottawa County, Michigan.
The Church, School and Graveyard were at this site which is now the site of the monument.
In 1887, 40 years after the first arrivals in Zeeland, the bodies in the graveyard were removed and the monument erected.
