Margaret was born March 12, 1939, in York, and was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Hartman) Britcher.
She was employed by the Yorktowne Hotel, Katherine Beecher Candies in Manchester, and also worked for several sewing factories in the area.
Margaret is survived by her son, William Ness of York; her three daughters, Debra Rosada, Betty Ness, and Linda Mummert, all of York; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her two sisters, Elizabeth Frysinger of Manchester and Mary Haugh of York Haven.
Her funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April, 14, 2015, at The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 S. Main St., Mount Wolf. Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Manchester Union Cemetery in Manchester. Officiating at the service will be The Rev. Roland E. Garvin.
