A resident of Lorain County since 1958. Herman retired from Ford Motor Company in Lorain after 35 years of service where he worked as an inspector. He was a "Proud Democrat" who enjoyed NASCAR, music, bargain shopping, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his children, Wayne (Laura) Keene, and Debora (Michael) Hutchinson, Amherst, Lorain, Ohio, Kathleen Baskin and Pamela (Michael) Coso, California, and Dennis (Jane) Keene of Lorain, 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, brother, Don Keene of New Hampshire, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa (nee Quinn) Keene, son, Gary Keene, parents, Herman and Hazel Keene Sr., and his brothers, Raymond Keene, Robert Keene and Richard Keene.
