DELBERT E. BLYSTONE, 60, Marion Center RD 1, died Monday, Nov. 27, 1989, in Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
The son of Roy and Helen Blystone, he was born Dec. 5, 1928, in East Mahoning Township.
Mr. Blystone was a truck driver with Marion Center Lumber Co. and was self-employed. Most recently, he drove for Marion Center Milling Co. and the Constantine Poultry Farm, Shelocta.
Surviving are three sons and one daughter: Delbert R., Ricky and Edward, all at home; Mrs. Bonnie Swaggert, Hillsdale; four grandchildren; a brother, Ralph, Marion Center RD 1; three sisters, Leda, Clymer, Mrs. Jake (Edith) Reitz and Mrs. Irene Cherry, both of Valier.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Kinter Blystone, on July 13, 1988; his parents; a daughter, Edith Adams, in 1978; and two brothers, Bert Blystone and Quail Zahoransky.
Friends will be received from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Plumville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Reid Blystone officiating. Interment will be made in the Marion Center Memorial Cemetery.
