Sharon Valentine Adkins, 72, of Christiansburg, Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 12, 2015. She was born in West Virginia, to the late William Henry and Nellie King Valentine. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Susie Moore.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 55 years, Clyde Adkins; children, Vanessa Ferrell of Vienna, Ill., Kevin Adkins and wife, Brenda, of Bonaire, Ga., and Shelley Adkins, of Pulaski, Va.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Brenda Griffith and husband, Curtis, of Proctorville, Ohio; brother, Kenny Valentine; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Sharon was a longtime member of Belmont Christian Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

The Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, with Mr. Beaver Terry officiating. The family will receive friends at 3 p.m. at Belmont Christian Church following the Graveside Service.
