On October 25, 1946 she married James C. Kerrigan, Jr. and they celebrated 36 years of marriage before his passing on January 29, 1983. She is survived by one son, James E. Kerrigan of Weston; three daughters: Susan Kerrigan, Vickie Kerrigan and Mary Elizabeth Richards and husband Roger, all of Weston; four grandchildren: Chloe Elizabeth Richards of Weston, Robert M. Kerrigan Jr. of FL, Kerrigan Swisher of Bridgeport and Kyleigh Golden of Salem; and one great grandson, Blake Golden.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family being preceded in death by two brothers: Edward and Ernest Turner and one sister, Irene Goldsmith; one son, Robert Michael Kerrigan, and one grandson, Brian Douglas Kerrigan.
Chloe had worked at the WV Glass Specialty Company for several years and later worked at the Louie Glass Company. She was a 1945 graduate of Weston High School, a 50-year member of the Republican Executive Committee, a member of the Lewis County Republican Woman's Club, and a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Weston. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and cooking for family and friends.
Friends and family will gather at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service at 144 Hackers Creek Rd. in Jane Lew from 4-7 pm on Thursday April 16, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 1 pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Weston with Reverend Father J. Stephen Vallelonga as celebrant. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Jane Lew. Rosary Services will be held at 7 pm on Thursday in the Pat Boyle Funeral Home Chapel.
