ANTON C. KOCHAN

Anton C. Kochan, 63, of 1012 N. 21st St., Manitowoc, died
Saturday night at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following an illness of several months.
Funeral services will be at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday at Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. The Rev. E. A. Radey will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Kochan was born on a farm in the Town of Kossuth Oct. 16, 1893, son of the late Anton and Anna Siebert Kochan. He worked with his father for a time on the farm and in 1924 took employment with the Manitowoc County Highway Department as a truck driver, remaining as a machinist for Manitowoc Engineering Corp. until his recent illness. In 1926, he married the former Lillian Seidl at Francis Creek.

Surviving him are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Donald Ames and Miss Audrey Kochan of Manitowoc; three sons, Clarence of Milwaukee, Louis of Manitowoc and A-1c Anton M. of Berksdale Air Force Base, La.; three brothers, Bernard, John and Leo of Francis Creek; four
sisters, Sister Mary Leonilla of Appleton, Miss Cecelia Kochan and Mrs. Elmer Teetz of Milwaukee and Mrs. Leo Crechard of Manitowoc; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7 o’clock and again at 8:30 o’clock this Monday evening by the Holy Name Society and the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin, organizations
with which he was affiliated. At 6:30 o’clock rites will be conducted by Machinists Local 516, I.A.M. He was a member of the union.
