William F. Block, 79, of Mt. Prospect, a driver and route salesman for the former Demand Butter and Egg Co. of Chicago, died Saturday. Mr. Block retired in 1979, when the company became part of the Badger Murphy Food Service Co. Survivors include his wife, Fern; two daughters, Susan Block and Joan Wilson; a sister, Loraine Raap; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mt. Prospect. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
