Mr. Jerry Walter Ashworth, age 80, of Kennesaw, passed away April 16, 2015.
He was retired from Lockheed with 40 years of service. He was a member of Mary's Memorial Baptist Church and was an avid painter.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pauline Ashworth; sons, Marty and Hope Ashworth, Marlon and Debbie Ashworth; brother, Barry and Vickie Ashworth; grandchildren, Andrea Shurtleff, Brookelynn Ashworth, Lauren Ashworth, Madison Ashworth, Emily Ashworth; great grandchild, Hadley Shurtleff.
Funeral services will be held Sunday April 19 at 2 PM at Mary's Memorial Baptist Church, 531 Manget Street, Marietta, GA, with remains placed in state at 1 PM. Rev. Robert Allen and Rev. Nathan Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. View Memorial Gardens in Marietta.
