John was born in Poland and is survived by his wife Mary, son Chester J. and daughter Stella. He retired from Ford Motor Co. and enjoyed gardening.

He is also survived by sisters; Mary Trand and Katherine Augustyn and 2 grandchildren; Paul and Nancy. Predeceased by his brother Joseph Witkowski.
