Born October 7, 1926, Edward Ray Adams lived most of his life as a true mountain man, trapping, hunting and fishing for a living. He lived a life many only dream about and others are afraid of. He died on march 26, 2015 at home. He had worked as a trapper for U.S. Fish & Wildlife, owned and operated a commercial fishing boat, partnered with a friend guiding moose hunts in British Columbia, Canada, cut timber in Washington and Oregon, served as a deputy sheriff in Jefferson Count, Oregon, and served with the United States Army during World War II. He is survived by his brother, Fredrick Milton Adams, and seven children: Jeanine Irene Neeley, Marshall Ray Adams, Rocky Monroe Adams, Starla Dawn Bidwell, Edward High Adams, Tami Kay Jones, and Lori Lee Smith. He also leaves fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

There was a military service at Lewisville Cemetery in Battle Ground, Washington on April 18th, 2015.
