Edward H. Propst, who immersed himself in the practice of pharmacy, died on Friday in Holy Cross Hospital, where he had worked for two decades. He was 43. Mr. Propst had spent the last few years of his career running the Fort Lauderdale hospital`s pharmacy and helping direct a Roman Catholic hospital pharmacy network. "He was totally dedicated to his profession," said Ed Holbrook, vice president for development at Holy Cross. Mr. Propst was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and moved to Fort Lauderdale with his family at age 8. He competed for the Stranahan High School swimming team and graduated in 1966.
