On the 1930 Memphis, Shelby Co., Tennessee census, I found secretary clerk, George W Faison, 35, Mississippi born; wife of 12 years, VIRGINIA Faison, 33, Virginis; sons or daughters: George W Faison, 10, Virginia; Elenora D Faison, 9, Virginia; Stewart M Faison, 8, Mississippi ; John Faison, 6, Mississippi; William Faison, 4/12, Tennessee. They resided at 740 Auburndale Street. George's brother John was also residing in Memphis with a wife and child.

to parents Samuel R Moore (born in Lexington) and Lelia St Clair Stuart (born in Christiansburg, Virginia). She was the wife of George W Faison and was a clerk for the Registrar of Rockbridge Health Dept. On 1 Feb 1944, she died in Lexington, Rockbridge Co., Virginia.
