Funeral services for James "Tucker" Allen Lester, age 92, of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be 10AM, Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Cox Funeral Home with Rev. Stowe Harbin and Kayla Cupples officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Friday from 5PM - 9PM and Saturday from 8AM until time of service at Cox Funeral Home.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Edna Pearl Lester; parents, James Allen Lester Sr. and Claire Alexander Lester; brothers, Mann Lester, Ed Lester, and twin brother, James Benjamin Lester; sisters, Lenna Webb and Nina McVay.
Tucker is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Jeff Coplin of Oak Grove, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Ruby Lester of Baker, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Judy Lester of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter, Pat Hudson of Oak Grove, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Vernon and Sedonia Lester of Vicksburg, Mississippi; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Lester, Jimmy Lester, J.J. Steen, Justin Freeland, Bill Navarro, Nick Navarro.
