She was born Violet Louise Jacquart on November ??, 1919 at Two Rivers, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Henry J. Jacquart and Eva Vandenbush Jacquart. She attended Two Rivers schools. She married Donald M. Leitner at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers on February 27, 1937. The couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1987.They moved to Manitowoc in ??, residing here since.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Donald and Sally of Stoughton, Wisconsin, Matthew of Manitowoc, Daniel and Jane of Sylmar, California, Steven and Katherine of Manitowoc; two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda and Stephen Ebert and Louise Lesperance, all of Manitowoc. three brothers and sisters-in-law, Arnold and Patricia, Merle and Kathleen of Two Rivers, James and Gloria of Manitowoc; two sisters, C?? Albert and Delores Kramer, both of Manitowoc; a sister-in-law, Leone Thirty of Manitowoc; 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Neil in ?? and 2 great grandsons, 1 brother and ? sisters.
