Mrs. Rogers is survived by two sons, Edmund Barr of Ogdensburg and Jim Rogers, and his wife Karen of Ogdensburg; one daughter, Michele Rosteck of Lowville; one brother, Edmund Barr and wife Sonya, of Ogdensburg; five grandchildren, Lisa Rosteck, Emily Frary, Mariel Barr, Johathan Rogers and Katherine(Katie) Rogers; one great grandson, Colin Frary.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Theresa MacMartin and Carole Connor; a son in law, Ronald Rosteck and a grandson, Robert Anthony Barr.
Mrs. Rogers was born on March 15, 1930 in Ogdensburg, the daughter of Edmund J and Elizabeth Morley Barr. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy and Wallace Business School. She married John Rogers in May 1956. John passed away in 1991. Joanworked for Loblaws Supermarket; Joan and husband owned and operated Jack's Market; she also worked for W. T. Grant and Watertown Dailey Times and supervised the after school program at Ogdensburg Catholic Central School.
