My grieving Grandpa Carroll dug the grave for his baby girl. The oldest daughter, my Aunt Maggie Sparks, told me he lined each wall of the grave with white cloth. She said Grandpa made it clear he wanted to be buried on the mountain next to his child. His request was granted when he died. My father built a chain link fence around the two graves. The spot is remote and quiet except for birds singing. It is beautiful.
