William Brazelton (1766-1846) son of William Sr. and Sarah, came to the Illiana Prairie in 1832 after the death of his first wife, Elizabeth Pidgeon Brazelton (1760-1828), and settled near Georgetown. He was recieved as a member of Vermilion Meeting on 2nd Month, 6th day, 1833, from Lost Creek Monthly Meeting., Tennessee. He returned to Lost Creek to marry Abigail Beals. Abigail and her daughters: Rachael and Ruth Beals were recieved as members of Vermilion Monthly Meeting on 6th month, 6th day, 1835, from Lost Creek Monthly Meeting, Tennessee. William later moved to Ridge Farm where he lived until his death on 9th month, 11th day, 1846. Four of William's children also moved to the Illiana Prairie.
