Lyle A. Heath, 93, North Manchester, IN died at 11:05 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN.
He was born in Bantry, North Dakota to Charles & Edith (Healy) Heath. Lyle served in the US Army during WWII. On January 26, 1944 he married Clara L. Seeley. She died October 3, 2004.
He retired in 1982 from Endicott Church Furniture, Warsaw, IN. He was a member of North Manchester United Methodist Church, a life member of American Legion Post #15, Wabash, IN, Moose Lodge #1518, North Manchester, IN and was a life member of D.A.V. He was an avid woodworker and a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by three sons, Barry (Susan) Heath, Bonita Springs, FL, Greg (Karen) Heath, Litchfield, MN and Scott (Deb) Heath, New Haven, IN; one sister, Francis Kesler, Francesville, IN; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Five brothers and eight sisters are deceased.
Family and friends may call Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Peabody Chapel, 400 West Seventh Street, North Manchester, IN. Services Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in Peabody Chapel, 400 West Seventh Street, North Manchester, IN. Rev. Sue Babovec will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
