Agnes V. Mahlock, age 85, a Manitowoc resident, died Sunday afternoon, July 14, 1996, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 13:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 1996, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Ronald Reimer with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Agnes Brandel was born September 16, 1910, in the town of Cato, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Joseph W. and Mary Schriner Brandel. On October 26, 1927, she married Raymond Mahlock at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. He preceded her in death March 23, 1967. Mrs. Mahlock was a member of the Perpetual Adoration Society of St. Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, William and Mary Mahlock, Green Bay; a daughter, Joan Peterson, Manitowoc; three brothers and five sisters-in-law, Ottmar and Grace Brandel, Manitowoc, Herbert and Arlene Brandel, Manitowoc, Jack Brandel, Columbus, Ohio, Rita Brandel, Columbus, Ohio, Marcella Brandel, Manitowoc, Margaret Gries, Manitowoc; three sisters, Elizabeth Augustine, Sheboygan, Sister Hermengild Brandel, Silver Lake, Ann Ebert, Manitowoc; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter, Alexa Wiegand; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Beth Marie Peterson, six brothers, Joseph, Charles, Bernard, Victor, Robert and Leonard Brandel, and four sisters, Sophie Brandel, Verona Riederer, Rose Budna, and Beatrice Steeber.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services. The Rosary will be recited at St. Paul Catholic Church at 10:30 .m. Wednesday led by the Adoration Society an friends of Agnes.
