Mrs. Lillian Massmann, 86, a former Manitowoc County resident, died Sunday evening, Aug. 24, at Northwest Health Center, Milwaukee.Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Curch, Manitowoc. The Rev. Dan Dewane will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Massmann, nee Lillian Dirkmann, was born July 13, 1894, in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Frank and Kate Brockhoff Dirkmann. She resided in Manitowoc County all her life. She was married to John Massmann, Sr. Sept. 25, 1913, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. He preceded her in death May 3, 1932.
Survivors include a son, John Jr. of Clearwater, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Oliver (Dorothy) Seehawer of Milwaukee; a brother, Leonard Dirkmann of Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Anton (Celia) Krema of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Louis (Leona) Zipperer of Whitelaw, 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funerag (sic) Home from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m.

TWO SISTERS BRIDES AT A DOUBLE WEDDING AT FRANCIS CREEK THIS MORNING
The Misses Odelia and Lillian Dirkman Claimed by Manitowoc Grooms
Two sisters, popular Kossuth girls were brides at a double wedding celebrated at St. Ann's Church, Francis Creek, this morning. Miss Odelia Dirkman wedded Anthony F. Krcma, this city, while her sister was claimed as the bride of John Massmann, also of this city. Both young ladies are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dirkman. Mr. Krcma is employed by the Norel, Zeman, Stangel Company while Mr. Massman is an employe of the Smalley Manufacturing company. Both couples departed for a honeymoon trip.
Mr. and Mrs. Krcma will make their home at 409 North Ninth St., while Mr. Massmann and bride
will reside at ?21 South Eighteenth Street, this city.
