Margaret M. "Marge" Hmurovich (nee Pramuk), 82, of Highland, formerly of Whiting, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 1998 at the Lincolnshire Nursing Center, Merrillville. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph F. "Skino" Hmurovich who passed away February 27, 1995. She is survived by two sons, Muro (Mark) (Francine) Hmurovich of Sacramento Ca and Michael (Beth) Hmurovich Sr. of Highland; five grandchildren, Michelle (Dan) Knight of Merrillville, Michael (Kristi) Hmurovich Jr. of Schererville, Danny, Ryan and Lauren Enkoji, all of Sacramento, Ca.; three great grandchildren, Monika, Johnny and Matthew Knight of Merrillville; two sisters, Florence (late Albert) Kurella and Jeanie (Ken) Hutchins, both of Whiting; two sisters-in-law, Helen Pramuk of East Chicago and Margaret Nellanwegg of Hammond; brother-in-law, John (Helen) Gadish of Hammond; many nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Veronica Pramuk and two brothers, Edward and Arthur. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 1998, 9:30 a.m. at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whiting, with the Rev. John E. Kalicky, C.PP.S. officiating. Interment at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, In. Visitation at the funeral home Sunday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. The St. John Rosary Society, together with members of the parish will offer prayers at the funeral home Sunday at 4 p.m. Mrs. Hmurovich was a lifelong resident of the Calumet Region; a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whiting; the St. John Rosary Society; the U.N.I.
