Doris Day
1936-2015

Doris Perlene Day, 78, of Cheyenne died March 6 in Layton Utah.

She was born May 6, 1936 in Pageland, S.C. She married Marvin N. Day, who was serving in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. In 1956, the couple moved to Cheyenne, where they raised three children.

Mrs. Day worked for several employers, including Wyatt's Cafeteria. She enjoyed traveling, and her hobbies included quilting and cross stitching.

Her Husband, Marvin N. Day, died July 18 in Layton.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela J. (Day) Klingensmith; sons Samuel A. Day and John S. Day, both of Cheyenne; brother John Q. Trull of Lancaster, S.C.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jennifer Lynne Day; her parents, Theron and Helen Trull; and sister Bobbie Jo Hyatt.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
