Kenneth Lee Adams, 68 of Piedmont, died July 7, 2000, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. He was born Oct. 9, 1931, at Wappapello, MO; son of Edgar E. Adams and Mayme L. (Bell) Adams.
He had worked as an assembly line relief operator. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he held the rank of Airman Third Class. He was a member of White Hollow Church in Clubb, MO.
Surviving are two sons, Danny Wayne Adams and Steven Lee Adams, both of Piedmont, MO; one daughter, Pamela Umfleet of Piedmont, MO; one step-daughter, Pat Dickerson of Patterson, MO; three sisters, Lois Adams of Piedmont, MO; Opal Mattoon of O'Fallon, MO; and Norma Jean Scott of Des Arc, MO; and five grandchildren.
A funeral is Monday at the Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont with the Rev. Eligah Bennett officiating. Burial will be at White Hollow Cemetery at Clubb.
