ALVA FRANK KILPATRICK

Alva Frank Kilpatrick, a lifetime resident of Limestone County and a brother-in-law of a Marlin woman, died March 31 in a Waco hospital.

Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Central Baptist Church in Thornton, with the Rev. Billie Anderson officiating. Interment was in Thornton Cemetery.

Mr. Kilpatrick was born Dec. 27, 1889, in the Pleasant Grove community in Limestone County, son of John Peter and Rebecca Rutherford Kilpatrick. He served in the U. S. Field Artillery in World War I. He was a farmer and rancher in Limestone County for more than 80 years.

Mr. Kilpatrick was a lifetime member of Woodsmen of the World and a member of the Central Baptist Church in Thornton.

He married Elzie Louvenia Bennett Dec. 26, 1920. She preceded him in death on Feb. 7, 1965.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Kilpatrick Polchinski of Houston; a sister-in-law, Hazel Goddard of Marlin; two granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.
