Kennedy Oberle. He was a member of St. Gregory Church in North East. Sam was currently a 9th grade student at North East High School where he was on the North East Cross Country Team, North East Swim Team, and North East Track Team. He also enjoyed hunting. Besides his parents survivors include a brother Charles (Chip) Oberle of North East and a sister Lillian Rose Oberle of North East; maternal grandparents James and Ann Marie Hitchcock of Clarkston, Michigan; paternal grandparents Robert and Jo Ann Oberle of North Hill, Pittsburgh; Aunts Karen Fodor and husband Dr. Michael Fodor of Michigan, Audrey Gill and husband John of Mississippi; Uncles James Oberle and wife Cheryl of Tarentum, Kenneth Oberle and wife Nancie of Sewickley, and Mark Thoreson of North East; cousins Kate and Sarah Fodor of Michigan, Jimmy Oberle of Tarentum, Marisa, Alaina, and Micalia Oberle of Sewickley, Elizabeth Gill of Mississippi; also loved by several other family members. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gregory Church located on South Peal Street North East on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Gregory Cemetery.
