Infantry(Army)-served in the Aleutian Islands 1942-1944. Then sent to Europe in 1944 and served as a tail gunner on a bomber squadron in the army air corps. He was killed in action 3-5-1945 somewhere in Germany. Mother was Helga Jamto Harp. Father was Claude Harp. Brother was Julius Harp. They were all from Grand Rapids, MN.
Left behind an unknown unborn daughter, which resulted in 3 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was buried in Itasca County Cemetary, Grand Rapids, MN on 8-21-1948.
