Benny Thedues Beck was born on December 10, 1932 in the Rush Creek area to Chester Rubun and Leta (McWhirter) Beck. He passed away on September 8, 2014 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years.

Benny lived in Maysville most of his life and graduated from Maysville High School. He married Kitty Carol Kelly Vanderslice on June 23, 1956 in Marietta, Oklahoma and they were married 58 years. He loved old cars and was in the used car business for 30 years. Benny enjoyed going to the coffee shop and talking with friends. He liked going to church with his church family at the Abundant Love Fellowship. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Carol of the home. 3 children: Kelly and wife, Sharon of Pauls Valley; James and wife, Amy of Maysville; and Debbye Beck of Maysville. A brother, Edward Beck and wife Darlene of Plano, Tx. 5 grandchildren: 2 step grandchildren: 5 great-grandchildren: and many other relatives and friends.

Benny was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Karl Beck.
