Nancy Arsula "Sula" Futch King Turner White Bacon was born January 11, 1890 in Bulloch County, Georgia to John Owen Futch and Mary Elizabeth Williams Woodcock Futch, child number twelve of fourteen children. Sula was married four times to: a Mr. King, Julius Thompson Turner with whom she had a son, James Patrick White with whom she had three sons and two daughters, and James E. Bacon. Sula died at age 62 in Georgia on August 19, 1952 and is buried in Red Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Bulloch County.
