Walter Edward Baber, 71, Mulvane, died Friday Oct 21, 1994, at the St. Francis Medical Center, Wichita.

Funeral Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (Oct 25, 1994) at the Senter-Smith Mortuary with Rev. David Meadows officiating. Interment was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Arkansas City.

Mr. Baber was born Feb 17, 1923 in Arkansas City to Walter and Grace Thome Baber. He married Pauline Elizabeth Harding in 1940.

He was a member of the Haysville Four Square Christian Church, Haysville. He was a veteran of the Navy. He was a retired Plaster Pattern Maker for Boeing.

His survivors include: his wife, Pauline, Mulvane; one son, Kenneth Baber, Atlanta, Kan.; two daughters, Grace Baber, Wellington and Karen Cottle, Haysville; one brother, Robert Baber, Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Helen Burr, Geuda Springs, Bette Enderud, Moses Lake, Wash. and Pauline Jones, Wellington; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Senter-Smith Mortuary, Mulvane.
