Lillian Pubigee
Brigham City-Mrs. Lillian Pabawena Pubigee, 59, 337 E. 1st N., died Saturday at an Ogden nursing home following a long illness.
She was born Nov. 10, 1910, in Deeth, Nev., a daughter of John S. and Ida Northfork Pabawena. She was married to Enos S. Pubigee in an Indian ceremony. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He died May 1, 1941.
She had lived at Washakie, Box Elder County, and has been active in the LDS ward there. She moved to Brigham City six years ago.
Surviving are six sons and daughters, Andrew, Mrs. Frank (Helen) Timbimboo, Mrs. Philip (Jennifer) Davis, Margie Pubigee, Leland and Boyd Pubigee, all of Brigham City; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a half-sister, Mrs. Verna Gomez, Ogden.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12 noon at the Intermountain LDS chapel with Bishop Grant Thompson of the Brigham City 4th Ward officiating. Friends may call at the Petersen Funeral Chapel Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
Interment services will be held at the Washakie Cemetery at 3 p.m.
