His mother, Thankful Rosebrook, is the daughter of James Rosebrook Jr. and Margaret McCoy.
Malindas mother, Persis Rosebrook, is the daughter of Lt. John Rosebrook and Sarah Cram.
Lt. John Rosebrook and Thankful Rosebrook are brother and sister.

Children of William Wallis Jr. and Malinda Wallis are (According to the Hobart Genealogy pages) are as follows:

Carlos 1807
Phillinda 1811
William 1813
Albert 1820*
Emmeline 1824 *

*Have been unable to find burial information on the above children.

William Jr. died about 10 years before his wife passed. His Mother and Father, Sister, Son and Wife are buried here.

His death records only show that he died in the same place as the rest of the family. However in the "Hobart Family in America-Twelve Generations" under "Ancestry of Betsey (Wallis) Hobart" William Jr.'s sister, it is recorded that..." he remained in Columbia and became one of the towns leading citizens. From him descended the Wallaces** of later generations in Columbia and Colebrook. He is buried in Columbia Bridge Cemetery near the graves of his parents."

**Many people changed the spelling of Wallis to Wallace and then back again in future generations. Thank you Star for your help.

Many thanks to my friend and teacher Shirley Mitchell for finding the rest of this family.
