He graduated from Yukon High School in 1980. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1985. He attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. His residency training was at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with Dr. Racz in Lubbock, Texas. He was an anesthesiologist for 24 years.
He enjoyed reading, golfing, traveling, spending time with family and friends, sports (especially football) and studying the Lord's Word. He felt it was an honor to be taking care of our veterans.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was kind, compassionate and had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Linda and sons Ryan and Brandon, a brother, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nephews, and several cousins.
Services to celebrate his life will be today at noon at Buchanan Funeral Service Chapel.
