KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. - Amy G. Allen, 64, of Kearneysville, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at Blue Ridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Charles Town, W.Va.
Born Aug. 24, 1940, in Laurel, Md., she was the daughter of the late Elias and Lidia Shipley Wines.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D. Avis "Pop" Allen Sr.
She retired from Martinsburg Wal-Mart.
She is survived by four daughters, Cindy Martin of Fishersville, Va., Wanda Carter of Gerrardstown, W.Va., Dana Hutzler of Kearneysville, and Sheila Schwing of Savage, Md.; two sons, David A. Allen of Martinsburg, and Danny Allen of Falling Waters, W.Va.; two sisters, Elsie Lindsay and Alice Odell, both of Maryland; five brothers, Checkie Wines of South Carolina, and Lukie Wines, Bernie Wines, Maynard Wines and Harry Wines, all of Maryland; three stepchildren; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 10 sisters and brothers.
Services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at South Berkeley Funeral Chapel, Inwood, W.Va. Pastor Charles Donivan will officiate. Burial will be in Central Chapel Cemetery, Ganotown, W.Va.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral chapel
