ILLNESS CLAIMS ARTHUR L. ABBOTT

WINAMAC—Arthur Leroy Abbott, 67, Star City, died at 5:45 a.m. Monday at the Pulaski Memorial Hospital, following
an extended illness.

Born in Fulton County, May 27,1907, he was the son of Alfred Jackson and Amanda McClatchey Abbott. He was married Sept. 19,1926, to Evea Rinebarger.

A retired farmer, he was a member of the Pulaski Conservation Club, the Pulaski County Farm Bureau and the Logansport Eagles Lodge.

Surviving with his wife are two sons, Donald, Winamac: and Robert, Star City; one brother, Nathan, Star City; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fry and Lange Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Wortinger officiating. Burial will be in the Star City I.O.O.F. cemetery.

Friends may call after noon Tuesday.
